Two Beers Brewery Tasting
Two Beers Brewery is one of Seattle's newer craft breweries. We liked working with them during Beer Week last year so we asked them to do it again.
We are happy to be hosting this Beer Week event in Little City on Wednesday May 19.
Two Beers will bring a selection of beers. City Catering will prepare small plates designed to compliment the beers served.

Big Night: In The Pink will feature seasonal salmon, rose wines and other Spring treats. We're not guaranteeing a 100% pink meal (once you get past salmon, rare meats and roses the list gets a bit thin). However, it will be a memorable meal with scintillating conversation.

Rhubarb Popcorn Torte
This delightful dessert is a bit complicated to make, but well worth the effort. To make things easier for you we created a printable pdf of the recipe.
Whiskey Snap
This drink makes use of the aged Aquavit we got while on our distillery tour. This particular aquavit is only available from House Spirits in Portland. A good alternative is Linie Aquavit from Norway. It is available at several area liquor stores. We used a blended Canadian Whisky in this version. We also enjoyed the drink made with Rye.
Ingredients
- ½ tsp Sugar
- ½ tsp Water
- 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
- ½ oz Gammal Krogstad Aged Aquavit
- 1½ oz Canadian Whiskey
- Wide Slice of Lemon Peel
Add sugar, water, bitters to old fashioned glass. Muddle until sugar dissolves.
Stir in Aquavit and Whisky. Add Ice. Stir to thoroughly cool.
Twist/squeeze lemon peel over drink to express oil. Add peel to drink. Let sit a minute.
